10年前，私は鹿児島の沖永良部でのALTを終え浜松に来ました。

MIRAIで働こうと思ったのは、学校とは違う教育があると感じたからです。

アメリカの教育と日本の教育は、方法が違います。

日本は，下から積み上げていくやり方。

アメリカは，問題を投げられ皆で思考錯誤するやり方。

宿題は，ほとんどありませんでした。

現代においては、AIがあれば、発想すること以外は、どちらでも構わないと思います。

私は、MIRAIに勤務するようになって，代表からある1つの指導キーワードを与えられました。

それは、もし、あなたが○○だったらなどの、発想力を英語で書いて話せる力の養成でした。

沢山遊んできた子、沢山色んな所に行って来た子などは発想力が豊かです。

MIRAIの一員として、発想力の育成を頑張ります！
 

Ten years ago, I finished my ALT (Assistant Language Teacher) position on Okinoerabu Island in Kagoshima Prefecture and came to Hamamatsu.
 
I decided to work at MIRAI because I felt the education here was different from that in public schools.
The education methods between the US and Japan are also different.
Japan uses a method that builds from the bottom up.
America uses a method where problems are presented and everyone thinks and tries to solve them together.
There wasn’t a lot of homework.
These days, with AI, I think both methods are valuable.
The most important thing is to develop the ability to come up with ideas!

Since joining MIRAI, the CEO has given me a key guiding principle.
It was to cultivate the ability to write and speak in English using imaginative thinking, such as “What if you were…?”
Children who have played a lot, and children who have traveled to many different places, tend to have rich imaginations.

As a teacher at MIRAI, I will do my best to encourage and cultivate the imagination of all my students!
